Your Responsibilities

This is a challenging opportunity to utilize your writing, editing, and proofreading skills across a full range of technical documents. Your responsibilities will include:

• Interviewing production and engineering staff.
• Reading trade journals and other materials to familiarize yourself with product technologies and production methods.
• Observing production, development, and testing activities to determine operating procedures and details.
• Assisting in the layout of material for publication.
• Analyzing developments in a specific sector to determine the need for revisions to previously published materials and the development of new material.
• Using established outlines and reference materials to finalize documents and ensure the report is fluent and consistent with raw data and engineering results.
• You will also be responsible for taking a document draft, formatting it, and organizing it. Reports may include global practice newsletters, client reports, technical documents/white papers, speeches, presentations, and corporate documents.
• Communicating changes made to engineers and managers.
• Working in a team with other editors and the lead editor.

Qualifications and Experience

1. Degree or diploma in Business Writing, Journalism, or scientific subjects.
2. At least one year (1+) of experience working with technical documents is preferred.
